Observation Tours in Portugal

Wildlife observation offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural world, uncovering the secrets of the flora and fauna that inhabit our environments. Each ride features a tapestry of colors, sounds and movements, where each animal plays a vital role in the web of life. We will walk in the most lush places, where birdsong echoes through the treetops. Each encounter offers a unique view of wildlife in its natural habitat, revealing the complexities of coexistence and adaptation. Search among rocks, sandbanks, forests, plains, in our cities, in rice fields, in salt pans, in rivers and streams, in ponds, all these habitats will be explored in the search for their natural wealth.

Also take a look at our photographic trips

In our photographic trips we will try to record the most charismatic species, such as vultures, orioles, blackbirds, shrimps, blue magpies, otters, horned vipers and Lusitanian salamanders. Some of our tours have been timed to coincide with the stunning spring and fall bird migrations and congregations along the coastline. Here are some of our photography options that you can choose from:

  • Photography of Plovers in Mindelo – One of the smallest birds that we can find on the beaches.

  • Reptile Photography in Mindelo – Look for the different species of reptiles that we can find in the Mindelo area.

  • Photography using Fixed Shelters – We will photograph several species using fixed shelters.
