MACROPHOTOGRAPHY OFFERS A WINDOW INTO A UNIVERSE OF DETAILS INVISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE. ON THIS OUTING, PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN TO CAPTURE THE METICULOUS BEAUTY OF FAUNA AND FLORA, LEARN NEW PHOTOGRAPHY TECHNIQUES AND CAPTURE FASCINATING IMAGES.
Macro photography is a specialized technique that allows you to photograph small animals or plants at high magnifications, highlighting textures, colors and patterns that would normally go unnoticed. In the biodiversity-rich Mindelo area, participants will be able to explore a variety of habitats, from forests and fields to swamps and coastal dunes, in search of insects, flowers, amphibians, and other small living beings. Equipped with macro lenses, participants will learn essential techniques such as choosing depth of field, using natural and artificial lighting, and composing images to highlight the most intricate details. These outings are ideal for those looking to deepen their photography skills and discover the hidden beauty of the natural world.

Experience Level
Everyone is welcome, although the tour is aimed at photographers with reflex cameras (with or without a mirror) and telephoto lenses, with experience in wildlife photography. I recommend that you have some familiarity with your camera, as I don't know all the existing models and you may have to change some settings to try a new technique.
Before departure, in the briefing and during the walk, you will have the opportunity to discuss the settings, I will give you several tips to make the most of the tour and you are free to ask any questions.
