The Mindelo Reserve is a vital sanctuary for many bird species, functioning as a feeding, nesting and resting point for resident and migratory birds. On the way out, participants will have the opportunity to see and photograph a variety of birds, from passerines to waterfowl. Participants will learn techniques specific to bird photography, such as using telephoto lenses, setting up a camera for quick capture, and approaching silently to minimize disturbance to the animals. Tours include visits to privileged observation points within the reserve, maximizing sighting and image capture opportunities.
