Birds in
Mindelo
from

up to 4 people
AMONG THE WINDS THAT SHAPE THE DUNES AND THE PLANTS THAT RESIST IN THIS LANDSCAPE, WE CAN OBSERVE DIFFERENT SPECIES OF BIRD. IN ESTUARIES THAT FLOW INTO THE OCEAN, THE ABUNDANCE OF FOOD ATTRACTS OTHER SPECIES.
The Mindelo Reserve is a vital sanctuary for many bird species, functioning as a feeding, nesting and resting point for resident and migratory birds. On the way out, participants will have the opportunity to see and photograph a variety of birds, from passerines to waterfowl. Participants will learn techniques specific to bird photography, such as using telephoto lenses, setting up a camera for quick capture, and approaching silently to minimize disturbance to the animals. Tours include visits to privileged observation points within the reserve, maximizing sighting and image capture opportunities. This program is ideal for those who want to develop their photography skills and deepen their knowledge of local birdlife in a natural and preserved environment.

Experience Level
Everyone is welcome, although the outing is aimed at photographers with reflex cameras (with or without mirror) and telephoto lenses, and with experience in wildlife photography. I recommend that you have some familiarity with your camera, as I am not familiar with all existing models and you may have to change some settings to try a new technique.
Before departure, in the pre-departure briefing and during the walk, you will have the opportunity to discuss the settings, I will give you several tips to make the most of the departure and you are free to ask any questions.
